Welcome to the Armadale 4WD Club
The club was formed in 1984 by a small group who saw the need for a 4wd club in the Armadale area.
40 years of a shared passion for 'wheeling' has seen the club grow and now has over 45 members. Over the years the club has hosted many events, including the Inter-Club Gymkhana, Bush Dance and Night Navigation and engages in 4WD community activities such as the annual Perth 4WD expo.
We are closely affiliated with the W.A.4WD Association (inc) and enjoy the ongoing support of various community organisations.
We are a family orientated club with members ranging from teenagers through to retirees. As a very social group, we embrace a culture of trust and respect. We strive to protect the environment which we are privileged to able to explore and enjoy and promote a sense of stewardship in our travels.
The club has a robust committee that meets once a month to deal with club administration to ensure functional stability and sustainability into the future. A dedicated social committee is also formed to organise trips, fundraisers and other social events.
We get out there regularly with Trips and Activities run throughout the year. Any members can run a trip, which could be something from as simple as a drive along the beach, to that of an immersive and challenging four-week trek on the canning stock route or alike.
Weekenders, overnighters or just a day run, visitors are welcome to attend any trip; there are no fees or charges.
Participants of all levels, experience and 4WD vehicle types are welcome; support and experience-sharing is very much a fundamental aspect of the club's culture, and are freely offered and welcomed.

Some of the many benefits of being a member of A4WD Club include the 4WD liabilities insurance scheme, the comfort in having other vehicles with you on trips, and the brain-trust of the many years of 4WDing experience, along with the extensive local knowledge of the WA bush and tracks, fishing spots, and spectacular camping. A collective of technical experience in navigation, nature and conservation, recovery, vehicle maintenance etc is also readily on-hand.
